Sohrab Tebyanian is a Chicago entrepreneur who has led Andriana Furs for 35 years, providing customers with a combination of quality and elegance. A longtime NBA fan, Sohrab Tebyanian was able to attend Chicago Bulls games with his son during the years that Michael Jordan and his teammates were in their prime.
The championship arc of the Bulls began in 1991. The team had faced the Detroit Pistons in hard-fought playoffs for 3 consecutive years and lost each time. It was in the 1991 Eastern Conference Finals that the Bulls finally found a formula that worked, defeated the Pistons in four straight games en route to a finals victory against the Lakers. Interviewed the following year, Jordan described an “Aha!” moment when he knew his team could prevail. Just prior to the All Star break, Jordan combined for 50 points with Pippen and led the Bulls to a 95-93 victory over the Pistons. This was the first time that Chicago had defeated Detroit at home in more than a season. Coupled with Isiah Thomas’ persistent wrist injury, which would bother the Hall of Famer throughout the rest of his career, this game was a harbinger of a sea change in the East.
